How do we do this:

this form is purely for our office use in order to garner the info required to lodge the application online

Once lodged the login information and instructions will be shared with you, to allow you to login and pay UKVI for the Ancestral Visa fee and the NHI Levy. 

We will then sign you up with your closest TLS application centre and book an appointment for your biometrics to be taken and for the hard copies of the application to be uploaded.

The visa will be issued within about 3 weeks.

You can apply for a UK Ancestry visa if you:

• are a Commonwealth citizen
• are applying from outside the UK
• are able to prove that one of your grandparents was born in the UK
• are able and planning to work in the UK
• The Visa can be applied for 3 months before your proposed date of travel and a decision will be reached within 3 weeks.

With an UK Ancestry Visa one can live and work in the UK for 5 years and can be accompanied by family members. You must prove that you:

• are 17 or over
• have enough money without help from public funds to support and house yourself and any dependents
• can and plan to work in the UK

When you apply you’ll need to provide:

• a current passport
• bank statements to show you’ve
• enough money to support yourself
• your tuberculosis test results

You’ll need to have a blank page in your passport on which to put the visa.

Ancestry documents

You’ll also need to provide:

• your full birth certificate
• your marriage certificate or civil partnership registration document if your husband, wife or civil partner wants to join you
• the full birth certificates of the parent and grandparent your ancestry claim is based on
• marriage certificates for your parents and grandparents and legal adoption papers if you or your parents are adopted

The Visa costs £713 and there is a NHI levy of £5175 per applicant payable upfront upon lodging of the Visa.
