The Journey to a Clean Slate
Much like crossing a bridge, the process takes a few steps, but the result is life-changing:
Step 1: We begin with fingerprints and a Police Clearance Certificate. This shows what’s on your record and confirms when the offense occurred.
Step 2: We submit your record to the Department of Justice to apply for expungement.
Step 3: Once approved, you’ll receive a new Police Clearance Certificate, confirming your record is clean.
Who Isn’t Eligible for Expungement
You may not qualify if:
- Your conviction is less than 10 years old.
- You have multiple convictions.
- You were convicted of serious crimes (e.g. sexual, violent, drug-related, or involving minors).
- You were sentenced to prison without the option of a fine.
- You have pending charges or haven’t received a required Presidential pardon.
